Hello and welcome to the latest market report.

Our Tomatoes are now Spanish as the Dutch season will be finished soon.
UK Broccoli has now come to an end and our stock is now a Spanish new crop which is better quality and value.

French and English Jerusalem Artichokes are in full swing and the price is coming down.
Mixed Chantenay Carrots are here and look and taste great. UK Brussels Sprouts are also plentiful and always popular at this time of year.

The season for UK Cauliflower is coming to an end and supply from Europe is limited. This has seen a steep price increase and some quality issues but we hope to see normal supply resume soon. Finally, bags of Mixed Nuts in shells are back in stock.

Best Buys: Broccoli, Savoy Cabbage, Parsnips, Swede, Extra Small New Potatoes & Mixed Wild Mushrooms

UK Spring Onions have finished and we are now working Mexican new season.
UK Rainbow Chard on the other hand is still going strong and looks as beautiful as ever.

Best Buys: Baby Gem Lettuce, Mixed Salad Leaves, Heritage Tomatoes & Cherry Vine Tomatoes

We have important information regarding STRAWBERRIES. The UK season has come to an end and with only a Dutch variety currently available supply is limited. They have become extremely expensive as a result and while we expect to see a Spanish new crop arrive in the next 2-3 weeks it may be best to avoid them if you can for the time being.

Spanish Oranges are great quality at the moment and supply is plentiful which has seen the price come down. Brazilian Figs are back in season but due to the air freight charges involved in getting them here they are quite expensive at the moment.

The European season for Grapes, both black and white, is almost over and our stock will soon be South American grown but the price has gone up as a result.

South African Peaches and Nectarines are back and the quality of both has improved. All our Lemons are now Spanish and great quality and value. Easy peel Clementines are also Spanish and we have the leafy variety too which are always popular at Christmas time.
Rhubarb sadly is in very short supply and extremely expensive too. We’d recommend avoiding it if at all possible. We can offer frozen 1kg bags as an alternative.

Sharon Fruit aka Kaki is still available as are a variety of UK Apples including Cox, Royal Gala, Braeburn and Russets. Best Buys: Cox Apples, Royal Gala Apples, Blueberries, Clementines, Comice Pears & Cranberries.

We would like to remind everyone that we also supply an extensive range of dried goods and dairy products.
